  • Derma Pitch Competition – Novartis Biome contributes to the digital revolution in healthcare with an initiative looking for new technological solutions that allow for better diagnosis and treatment of psoriasis. The objective is to meet the main challenges facing the medical treatment of psoriasis, and enable faster and more efficient diagnosis and treatment management that would be mutually beneficial for patients and dermatologists. Novartis is looking for a patient-centered scalable solution that would help to optimize patient care, allowing both patients and dermatologists to capture relevant clinical information and key events, as well as to track the progress of the disease.   • NBIC 3rd Proof of Concept Award – The NBIC is launching its third call for proposals for Proof of Concept (PoC) projects from interested parties who have the experience and knowledge necessary to investigate and exploit areas in which biofilms play a central part. All projects proposed will be considered and ranked on their merits based on a number of criteria, with the intention that the selected projects will form a high-quality portfolio of Proof of Concept projects. This year, for the very first time, candidates are able to submit their innovative ideas in six thematic categories.   • Public procurement of innovative solutions for patients with bradycardiasThe RITMOCORE consortium – four hospitals and hospital foundations in Spain and the UK – invites interested bidders to submit offers to their public procurement of innovative solutions (PPI). This PPI aims to deploy innovative and more efficient service provisioning for patients with bradycardias and implantable pacemakers.   • CRAASH Barcelona is looking for projects and start-ups to join the second edition of a boot camp that focuses on validating business models in the European markets of Barcelona, Paris, and Delft, as well as the US market of Boston. Participants should be part of a project in the field of medical devices, diagnosis or digital health from any European ecosystem looking to bring their product closer to the patient. The program is mostly web-based, but the travel to four on-site events will allow participants to build their network and evolve their solution. Any team of three people that have a technical lead, an entrepreneurial lead and a clinical lead with technology at technology readiness level 3 or 4 (proof of concept or proof of feasibility) can apply.
